Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation

Physical rehabilitation involves numerous techniques, including manipulation, electrotherapy, and exercise. Physical rehabilitation can promote more rapid recovery after surgery and injuries. After the initial evaluation, a customized plan for therapy is developed to address the particular needs of the patient.

Who can benefit from rehabilitation?

  • Preoperative orthopedic surgical patients, i.e. cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) rupture and hip dysplasia.

  • Postoperative orthopedic patients, i.e. CCL repair, femoral head ostectomy, fracture repair.

  • Orthopedic medical patients, i.e. osteoarthritis, inflammatory arthropathy.

  • Neurological patients, i.e. intervertebral disc prolapse and degenerative myelopathy,

  • Overweight patients.

  • Geriatric patients.

  • Agility, performance, and working dogs.
