When to schedule an exam?
As soon as you get your new pet you should schedule an exam.
Also, schedule an exam if you should see any of the following signs:

Respiratory issues such as coughing or trouble breathing

Displaying signs of pain, such as excessive panting, labored breathing, increased body temperature, lethargy, restlessness, or loss of appetite

Wounds or lacerations that are open and bleeding

Persistent vomiting or diarrhea

Seizures, fainting, or collapse

Suspected poisoning

An allergic reaction

Eye injuries
-
Thermal stress may display as your pet is too hot or cold

Trauma
