Meet Our Veterinarian
Susan Jenner, DVM , CCRP

Growing up in O'Fallon Illinois, Dr. Susan Jenner knew she wanted to be a veterinarian since she was three! Working with and treating animals has remained her passion.

Attending the University of Illinois, she majored in Honor's Biology as an undergraduate. From there she continued her education at the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Illinois and graduated in 1984.

After graduating, she practiced at a multitude of hospitals across Illinois, Missouri, and Minnesota. Most recently, she was an associate veterinarian at Four Paws Animal Hospital.
Dr. Jenner has a particular interest in internal medicine, emergency/critical care and physical rehabilitation. She recently completed the rigorous certification process through the University of Tennessee Veterinary College and is now a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner.
She is enthusiastic about rehabilitation of pets from injuries, medical conditions and orthopedic surgeries but also enjoys working with canine athletes and working dogs to better condition them for their sports/careers. Dr. Jenner is a member of IAVRPT (International Association of Veterinary Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy) as well as AARV (American Association of Rehabilitation Veterinarians).

When not caring for your pet, Dr. Jenner enjoys sporting dog field trials and training her German Shepherd in IGP/Schutzhund as well as horseback riding and reading. Dr. Jenner is also, the proud mother of a young college student who recently graduated from the University of Illinois, along with two dogs, a cat, and four horses.

Dr. Jenner envisions this practice as being the premier center in the metro-east for all your veterinary needs. She plans to focus not only on preventative health care, general medicine, and surgery but also provides physical therapy and rehabilitation should your pet find itself needing specialized care.
